Connections!

Thank goodness for connections! Jeremy had ventured to the dentist yesterday for the first time in a long time... and we knew it was going to be a problem... well a couple hours later they diagnosed him with 8 cavities- count then 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8! A crown, and wisdom teeth removal! 4,800 bucks!! First thing that came into our minds was... WT _! No, no, it was HOW in the heck are we going to handle this on top of everything else?
Dad saves the day.
In the words of Tanasha " Oh Heeeeellllll no!"
A day later, a new dentist, connections, and a few hours of sweet talk... Jeremy has 4 cavities, a crown, and 2 wisdoms that need to come out for....$1,000. Now don't get me wrong 1,000 is still 1,000 but it is no 4,800. Whew. What a deal. Thank goodness!! That in itself is a relief. So today I am grateful for connections, nice people, and people who are willing to take time to help others.
Lesson learned: Help others, and they will help you back. Give a little, recieve a lot. Work the system.

Now on my soap box: Please for the love make sure you are ALWAYS insured. In ALL areas. It is pure and udder stupidity to go without insurance. Yes it is expensive but do you know how EXPENSIVE it is to not have it?! You cannot hide from accidents. You cannot escape emergencies. And WHEN they come, yes WHEN not IF, WHEN they come you better be prepared!! So please always have insurance-- house, car, health, life, all of it. It is stupid and irresponsible to not have it. ESPECIALLY if you have kids. Kids are little liabilities in themselves and are crazy and bound to get hurt. So beeeee prepared.

In more recent news: we are finding this whole not having a car things to be very inconvient to our relationship. Like the economy is cutting back on everything, we had to cut back on our together hours. Sad. It is a lot harder to be together when you live an hour away and have to depend on other people to drive you everywhere and you work and have school. It's pretty stinky. But we will survive, I guess. :)
